The Hamlet at Pawling was completed in 2016. In partnership with Castagna Realty, the Hamlet is part of an approved Planned Development, called The Castagna Commerce Park, that includes mixed-use, market rate senior housing, affordable senior housing, assisted living, medical, and commercial.
The Castagna Commerce Park is located on Route 22 in the Town of Pawling, and was named a 2013 Regionally Significant Project by the Mid-Hudson Economic Development Council. The Hamlet consists of 80 affordable senior housing apartments. In addition, The Hamlet has 8 units that utilize the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Waiver Program (NHTD). NHTD helps to house those seniors who are most at risk and who are in critical need of affordable housing. The Hamlet has achieved a Gold LEED rating.
